Rebecca Ann Tseitlin

Rebecca Ann Tseitlin spent her early years in Thousand Oaks, California (a quiet town outside of Los Angeles) studying with Heifetz assistant Claire Hodgkins, Russian pedagogue Abram Shtern, and international soloist Mark Kaplan at UCLA. studied under scholarships from the Leni Fe Bland Foundation, Maestro Foundation, and Presser Foundation. She held the concertmaster position of the UCLA Philharmonia for her two years during her studies there. She has received top prizes in the SYMF competition, Redlands Bowl Young Artist Competition, Brentwood-Westwood Young Artist Competition and New West Young Artist Competition.

Rebecca made her orchestral debut with Saint-Saens “Havanaise” at the Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks. Since then she has performed across the United States, China, Africa and Europe.

Her chamber music career includes festival performances in Santa Barbara, New York, Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Viana Do Castelo.

Rebecca was most recently head of the string department of Grace Community School in Sun Valley, CA, and is now in residence with Eleos Arts in Los Angeles and teaches at the Conejo Valley and West LA Campuses.
